Why I was crazy enough to launch a halal tallow skincare brand 3 weeks after becoming a twin dad
Launching a tallow skincare product called WhippyCow, is the last thing I thought I'd ever do. But I think everyone, especially parents, deserves effective skincare they can actually trust.
1 - Rock bottom
5 years ago, I was 30kg overweight and miserable about my own health
Eating "the right way", the way we're all told to today did nothing. It wasn't until I got annoyed enough to actually ask why it kept failing that anything changed.
2 - Discovering the food "con"
Turns out "healthy" wasn't healthy at all, but designed to keep us hooked

3 - Going back to our roots
So I started eating like it was 10,000 years ago. Weirdly, it worked. Really well.
Real fats. Simple, whole food. The 30kg came off in months, and it sounds ridiculous but I felt younger in my 30s than I did in my 20s. That rabbit hole didn't stop at food. I wanted to know what else I'd been getting wrong.

8 - Twins are born!
Everything came together at the most insane possible time to start a business
Three-week-old twins. Low sleep. And somehow, that's when we launched anyway. Because I wasn't going to sit on something that worked this well just because the timing was insane. Everyone deserves what I was giving my own family, held to the one standard that actually mattered now. If my babies could eat it, it was good enough to go in the jar.
